Question #41

If you could donate a kidney to a person who had done incredibly awful things, like a dictator or a serial killer, in order to obtain a multi-million dollar donation to end child hunger, would you do it? What if you didn't have to do it yourself, but you could pick someone standing within 100 feet of you right now? Who would it be, if anyone? What if you couldn't tell them beforehand?

  1. If there was some sort of way to guarantee they'd actually make the donation and that they wouldn't cause further damage, I'd do it myself.

  2. Okay, I'm going with the grammar on this one. According to the question my kidney can end child hunger. And you said "had done" implying incredibly awful person no longer does incredibly awful things, possibly because they've found Jesus or been locked up or both. I don't see the downside, I'd be happy to live with one kidney.

  3. Okay, so I read this as "Bad person needs your kidney, if you give them your kidney, they will end child-hunger"
In that instance, I wouldn't because bad people will say whatever they think you want to hear, just to get what they want. There's no guarantee they'll follow through at all.
    No kidney for them.

  4. Interesting, so what would they need to do to prove that they will follow through?

Could you get a shotgun within 3 hours if you needed one because of a report of just one zombie? If so, would that be the weapon you would choose? Given three hours, would you try to get something else? Just askin'
